Our program is highly competitive and students should be self-motivated with strong attention to detail. Potential candidates will be invited for interviews on campus, with travel compensation from the department; Skype interviews are available for students currently overseas. Students should take the time to identify a faculty member whose research aligns with their own interests, and therefore with whom they would like to work. Roughly 3/4 of our graduate students pursued an undergraduate degree in psychology or neuroscience. Research experience is very important in the admission process and a strong mathematics background is important for success in the program.
