A competitive applicant typically has a background in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field from a regionally accredited institution. Research experience is preferred but not required. We have a holistic application and review process where all components of an applicant's educational background, letters of recommendation, experience, and test scores are examined. Research experience is preferred but not required. All applicants seeking admission are required to take the GRE. International applicants must complete the TOEFL or the IELTS. The admissions committee considers all components of the application when making an admissions decision.
