The Springfield College physical education teacher professional licensure program enables experienced physical education teachers who hold an initial license to earn a Master of Science degree or Master of Education degree in one to three years.

Designed to meet Massachusetts requirements for professional licensure, which all teachers are required to obtain within five years of receiving their initial licensure, this program allows students to design a course of study that meets their individual academic and personal needs. Full-time students can complete the program in two years, while those working as full-time teachers can attend part-time through our flexible evening and summer classes.
