In this unique program, students can specialize in any area of psychological research – including clinical, cognitive, developmental, neuroscience or social – and prepare for doctoral studies or a research job in the public or private sector. They receive extensive research design and analysis and have access to our entire faculty, who bring demonstrated strengths in all areas of psychology. Students and faculty collaborate on research, culminating in the master’s thesis and frequently have opportunities to publish in journals and present research at conferences.

Who We're Looking For

Summary

We are looking for talented students with a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.00. The median GPA for accepted students is 3.50. Students are required to have successfully completed courses in statistics, experimental psychology or research methods in psychology, and learning or cognitive psychology. Additionally, two letters of recommendation, a personal statement, and GRE scores. Most successful applicants have research experience.
