The LL.M. in International Business Law (LLM IBL) combines a world-class legal education with a comprehensive look at the corporate world, preparing students to manage and successfully complete global legal operations and transactions across different jurisdictions. Therefore, students obtain an LL.M. from IE Law School and a Certificate in Business Administration from IE Business School.
The aim of this program is that LL.M. students can practice law across internationally and expand their career options across the world. Hence, the IE Law School has partnered with BARBRI, so that they have the posibility of taking the California Bar Examinarion, as well as the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS) in England and Wales.
The School also has partnerships with top legal U.S. institutions, such as the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law or the NYU School of Law, as well as agreements with many tech companies in Silicon Valley.

A Bachelor of Laws is a prerrequisite to apply for the LL.M. IBL, but candidates with a different Bachelor may be taken into consideration on a case by case basis.
The program is oriented to professionals who want to become international lawyers ready to manage the complex problems faced in the new world of law by global corporations, law firms, consulting firms, start-ups or new-tech companies.
