The Executive LL.M. (EXLLM) is a joint degree governed by two of the world’s leading law schools: Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and IE Law School. The program is business-law focused and covers American Common Law, its application in international practice, and management essentials.
It is Europe’s pioneering LL.M. Program for working lawyers and especially for those who want to become U.S. attorneys, as they may qualify to take the California Bar Exam (provided they have a valid first-degree in Law and meet all the requirements by the Bar Association).
Upon program completion, students will receive a LL.M. or a Master of Studies in Law (MSL.) degree from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, as well as a Certificate in Business Administratoin from IE Business School.

A Bachelor of Laws is a prerrequisite to obtain the official LLM (Masters in Law), but applicants with a different Bachelor can take the program and will obtain an official MSL (Master in Studies of Law) instead.
The EXLLM is designed to target experienced professionals trained in a non-US legal system, practicing in an environment which requires knowledge of the Anglo-American legal system and its application in transnational practice.
