MSFS students have high academic achievement, a clear commitment to international affairs, and related experience. No specific academic degree or background is required; undergraduate degrees of accepted students have ranged from international affairs and political science to economics, art history, biology, and engineering! Our students are diverse, thoughtful leaders with a drive for leadership and service. Experience living, studying, and working abroad is strongly recommended but not required. Work experience related to your area of interest is helpful.
Proficiency in a modern foreign language.
Completion of two courses (three credits each) in economics (one each in micro and macro principles) with a final grade of B or better is required before matriculation.
